No Show Policy

Beginning January 1st, 2022 Erindale Health Centre will be enforcing our No Show Policy. Please find the policy below:

We schedule our appointments so that each patient receives the right amount of time to be seen by our physicians and staff. That’s why it is very important that you keep your scheduled appointments with us, and arrive on time.

As a courtesy, and to help patients remember their scheduled appointments, Erindale Health Centre sends reminders to patients 24 hours in advance of their appointment through Medeo. If you are not signed up for Medeo, please inquire with a receptionist about signing up.

In the past year, Erindale Health Centre has had over 1000 people no show for their appointment; these are appointments that we could have offered someone else.

If your schedule changes and you cannot keep your appointment, please contact us so we may reschedule you, and accommodate those patients who are waiting for an appointment. As a courtesy to our office as well as to those patients who are waiting to schedule with the physician, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice.

If you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours of notice, we may assess your account with a no show service charge of between $19 and $38. After 3 consecutive no shows to your appointment, our practice may decide to terminate its relationship with you.
